A quick visit to Rockhampton by plane for the day for a family funeral, wasn't really the time for sight seeing, but we did enjoy a fabulous view of the Fitzroy River through the centre of Rockhampton from the family apartment. We saw a large number of Black Kites and plenty of birds of prey diving for fish in the river, and despite the sadness of the visit, it was a beautiful day.
