Fathers Day Bush Walk at J.E. Duggan Park 02/09/12

We enjoyed a Fathers Day Picnic and then a bush walk and bird watching at J.E. Duggan Park on the escarpment of Toowoomba on 2nd September 2012.  B & J

Varigated Fairy Wren hidden amongst the branches.
 
Unsure on the ID of this bird.  We saw it eating a worm/grub from the branch of this tree.
 
White-Browed Scrub Wren
This Nesting Box was up very high in a Gum Tree at J.E. Duggan Park.... just shows that these boxes can be homes to other creatures, not only birds and possums.... don't think anything will be venturing into this one with its current inhabitants residing in it though!!

    Is that a White-Throated Treecreeper in the photo above it?
